FOLEY NAMED VICE PRESIDENT OF ADVANCEMENT FOR CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL OF MICHIGAN FOUNDATION

Susan Foley has joined the Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation (CHM Foundation) as vice president of Advancement.

Susan comes to the CHM Foundation from Henry Ford Health System, where she served as senior director of Medical Group Philanthropy and Major, Principal and Planned Gifts, and managed a team of major gift officers charged with raising $29 million annually. Her experience spans all facets of fundraising, including individual, corporate and foundation relations. In her role at the CHM Foundation, Foley is responsible for fund development and marketing along with supporting governmental affairs for the Foundation.

“Susan’s expertise in progressive and strategic fundraising, particularly in the healthcare and human services arenas, will greatly enhance CHM Foundation’s ability to further grow and transform our services and resources so that we can help exponentially more children and families," said Cameron Hosner, president and CEO of CHM Foundation.

Foley has a bachelor’s of science degree from the University of Michigan and is a graduate of both Leadership Detroit and Leadership Oakland. She is a past president of the Junior League of Birmingham and has received numerous professional achievement and community service awards.

Founded in 2003, CHM Foundation supports the healthcare needs of children by raising philanthropic support for pediatric medical education, pediatric focused research and prevention of childhood diseases and injuries, and child advocacy efforts. The CHM Foundation is recognized as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization by the Internal Revenue Service and is governed by a 23-member board of directors.
